Perhaps the biggest misconception of rowing is the fact that people believe it is an upper body sport. In fact most of the power in rowing is dominated by the lower limbs (quads and hamstrings) to generate the stroke.

Designed by professionals to suit anyone from beginners to pro's they have 20 different water resistance levels together with a heart rate monitor so making your exercise safe but also challenging.

Rowing is the perfect balance between the lower body extension in combination with the upper body pull, this is what makes a successful and power rowing stroke. In my opinion makes it one of the best all round exercises in a gym. Here's why....

Upper Body

Middle Body

Lower Body

The ability to train those muscles in a number of different ways, for strength training, toning, fat burning and endurance.

I have chosen water rowers because it is designed to emulate what it would be like to actually row on the water, so therefore the water creates the resistance. The advantage is a very smooth action with only the noise of water very therapeutic. The 1st Degree Rowers have 2 chambers so are unique with 20 resistance levels; so from the Novice to the Professional there is lots of scope.
